Our Values

We believe the church has two main purposes: to glorify God, and to equip the saints.

Glorify God

We glorify God when we put Him first. We seek Him in prayer and depend on His Spirit for guidance and power.

In order to know how to glorify God, knowledge of His Word is essential. To gain that knowledge, we study the Word in its entirety. By using an expository approach, we ensure believers receive the full counsel of the Word of God.

We never seek to distract from the person and work of Jesus Christ or take credit for His ministry.

Equip the Saints

Ephesians 4:11-13

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-13.

The other purpose of the church is to Equip the saints for ministry. We believe each saint is called to minister within their family, community, and the world. To fulfill this priority we disciple the believer in each of the following ways:

Within the Family

We believe that the family was created by God as the fundamental unit of society. Therefore we seek to minister to the family as a unit as much as possible. When ministering to individuals, we seek to help them better fulfill their role within the family as outlined in Scripture. As the individual grows in their relationship with Christ, the family will prosper. As the family grows closer in Christ, the community will benefit.

Within the Community

Whether within our body or outside our doors, we desire to prepare and partner with godly men and women as they fulfill God's calling to minister to their community by preparing them through Bible study, ministry training, one-to-one discipleship and various other opportunities.

We serve our community in two ways:

Inside the Four Walls

Just as there is no distinction between Jews or Greeks before God, there is neither any distinction between whites, blacks, Asians, or Hispanics. Therefore, we will worship and fellowship as one body. We will seek to serve each other as brothers and sisters in Christ (Phil 2:1-4).

Outside the Church Doors

We believe that God has placed us in our community for a purpose. In our desire that all come to Christ, we seek to serve our community, not just our church. We desire to cultivate relationships with other churches, ministries, like-minded organizations and leaders in order to help our community grow (Jeremiah 29:4-7).

Around the World

We believe that God is always doing a new work. We seek to not only support our community but also those whom God calls to serve around the world, whether they are established ministries or disciples raised up in our church and sent out (Matt. 28:19,20).
